and I usually just get a blank stare and a slight smell of burning plastic as they try to reboot. After they reboot, they just start dittoing out of context.

I wonder how many of those this guy got before he started getting answers.

such as those who promote the 'gayness is a choice' argument, one gets further in building bridges by discussing those for whom sexuality is clearly defined, rather than discussing sexuality as lying on a continuum, or discussing Kinsey, etc.

it's a logical question. if gay people choose to be gay, then we must choose to be straight right? thanks for sharing this.

When deciding where I was on this issue politically, some 20 years ago, this same question came to me. I didn't decide to be straight, I just am, and it immediately followed that LGBT folks must be the same way.
