(29,503 posts)such as those who promote the 'gayness is a choice' argument, one gets further in building bridges by discussing those for whom sexuality is clearly defined, rather than discussing sexuality as lying on a continuum, or discussing Kinsey, etc.

(32,886 posts)When deciding where I was on this issue politically, some 20 years ago, this same question came to me. I didn't decide to be straight, I just am, and it immediately followed that LGBT folks must be the same way.
