RuPaul Crashes N.H. Republican Primary

Hot on the high heels of comments made by Rick Santorum comparing same-sex marriage to polygamy, RuPaul made an appearance at the New Hampshire Republican Primary over the weekend with a message of her own.
“I do have a message for all the Republican candidates,” the world’s first drag superstar told Reuters. “If you can’t love yourself, how in the hell are you gonna love somebody else? Can I get a ‘amen’ from you?”
Republican hopefuls have attempted to complicate the battle for equality at every turn, but RuPaul had a few simple words for any politician hoping to subjugate the LGBTQ community. “This country, it’s all about freedom. Live free or die. That’s what I say.”
