Russia Raids Gay People's Homes

The Russian government's newest law condemning antigay so-called propaganda has now encouraged people to report their LGBT neighbors to local authorities.

An alleged notice from the government urges any person who suspects that a neighbor or tenant who disseminates "homosexual propaganda" should contact the police immediately, Gay Star News and O-Blog-Dee-O-Blog-Da report.

"Increase your vigilance when you talk to your neighbors, when you are checking your mail and in elevators," the notice says, according to a translation. "You can easily become a target of homosexual propaganda. There is one step from being homosexual and to start propaganda of homosexualism and molesting decent people."

Russian prosecutors reportedly raided the home of activist and lawyer Nikolai Alexeyev. According to Reuters, officials ransacked Alexeyev's home and removed several pieces of electronic equipment.

If this were happening to Jews, blacks, or any other minority we would, as we should. This is going beyond public kissing and protest arrests. Getting neighbors to tell on neighbors is a recipe for disaster.

If that would cause us to boycott. I say fuck Russia, and move the Olympics to somewhere else. It's NOT too late. If they have to cancel certain events due to the move, so be it.

Sports bore me. The only reason I watched was for the McDonald's contest. You had to know who won what to win. LOL! I don't give a rats ass about the Olympics, but Russia should NOT be able to host them. This is Hitler's Olympics of 2014 and we will turn a blind eye just to save our face.

Report your gay neighbors? Next will come the closing or labeling of gay-owned businesses. I guess for some, it won't matter until bodies are stacked up like cord wood, and even then, there will be those who ask, "well, did they do everything they should have to avoid these circumstances."
