DJ Mister Cee comes out on Hot 97 after video comes out of him soliciting oral sex from male prost.

I don't know how this hasn't gotten more attention in society and on DU, but here it is. The audio of this conversation on Hot 97 is emotional both for Mister Cee and for the listeners. Hot 97 DJ Ebro Darden stands by Mister Cee as does Hip Hop legend Funkmaster Flex. This is something that may not have happened some years ago. I think it's must listen. Hopefully it gets out into the world more.

Mister Cee shocked everyone here at HOT 97 when he resigned from the station yesterday.
The AIDS Healthcare Foundation commends Mister Cee on his revolutionary stance and voice for sexual freedom.

This morning Ebro had him on the HOT 97 Morning Show to talk about why he made the decision to leave.

Radio Deejay Mister Cee’s Sex Scandal Reveals Open-Minded Shift in Hip-Hop

When a year-old audio clip of famed Hot 97 deejay Mister Cee was released Wednesday, in which the hip-hop veteran appeared to be soliciting oral sex from a transgendered video blogger, he thought his career was over.

Cee, whose real name is Calvin LeBund, 47, resigned from his job, saying he did not want to draw negative attention to the radio station that had been his employer for decades. "I don't want you guys to lose sponsors and money," he explained.

But, on Thursday, Cee's crisis of faith took another turn. Hot 97's program director Ebro Darden had the deejay back on the air for an emotional and revealing conversation that touched on both Cee’s personal battles with his sexuality and the prejudices that have long prevailed in hip-hop culture. Cee wept several times throughout the conversation.

Despite admitting that he sometimes enjoys the company of men dressed like women, Cee initially maintained that he was not gay.

"I know that I love women," he said. "Any woman that's been with me know that I love women. But occasionally I get the urge to have [oral sex] with a transsexual – a man that looks like a woman."

The music legend, who was instrumental in the careers of the Notorious B.I.G., helping him to connect to Sean Combs, and Big Daddy Kane, specified that he has never had sexual intercourse with a man, but that he was completely aware of the identity of drag queen Bimbo Winehouse, acknowledging his desires and sexual self-categorization were not completely aligned.

"I'm tired of trying to do something or be something that I'm not," he confessed, adding, "I have been in denial with this for a very long time."

Mister Cee Explains Newfound 'Sexual Freedom' In AIDS PSA

Last week, Mister Cee resigned from his post at Hot 97 in NYC with an emotional goodbye, after admitting to a sexual encounter with a transsexual man. Cee returned to his post a day later but is now speaking out about his newfound sexuality.

"With the grace of family and good friends around me, they made me feel comfortable to exercise my human right of sexual freedom. Instead of finding myself being self-detained by discrimination, judgement, criticism and even violence from my own community," says the legendary DJ in a new PSA in partnership with the AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF).

during a drunken phone call awhile back. This guy, my friend, was absolutely the most handsome guy I'd ever known at the time, but very straight. Still is. He's divorced and apparently has sex with all kinds of girls.

Straight guys often want oral sex, much more often than their girlfriends want to give it. Personally I see nothing wrong with them getting it from guys, whether gay, straight, bi or trans as long as they use protection. My only problem with them doing it is if they're married or in a committed relationship.

Craigslist ads are full of straight men wanting oral from a guy. And this is nothing new, as the fundies try to claim. This practice is as old as mankind.

Biggie Smalls's classic 'Ready to Die.' I really hope he still has a career after this.
