It would be a good feature length film if it could delve into her making the choice to be herself no matter what, finding support from others like her, teachers, etc..then growing into a healthy adult and maybe even making her parents accept her...I'd like to think we have more tolerance going on these days. I know my daughter's middle school is really out front about bullying and tolerance in many ways...

I'm not sure I would have been willing to have my tween watch it - but then again, when one of his school chums blew her brains out with her dad's revolver, I was amazed at how prosaic he - and his peers - was about it. Shocked me, actually . . . and that was almost twenty years ago.
