Christian group advertises on Grindr, denies trying to ‘change’ gays

The adverts have so far been spotted by Grindr users in Australia, Spain, Iceland, Canada, the US and the UK.

Despite advertising on the app, GodLife’s website does not make any reference to homosexuality or gay people, though it does state: “God will remove His hand from your service to Him if you allow lust to lead you to actual sexual immorality.”

When asked why they were advertising on the gay cruising app, GodLife told SameSame: “Wow, we really are all over the world..."

Not sure if there's a statistical study on this, or if I'm just biased based on those I surround myself with, but really this seems like a huge waste of money. (Good riddance I guess.) I really don't know any devout Christian LGBTers, and while I of course know they exist, at least in this area, I don't think religion is the first thing on the minds of guys on Grindr. I could be mistaken.... but I doubt it.
