A 14-year-old girl celebrated her birthday with the Maryland’s Senate Judicial Proceedings Committee this afternoon and told lawmakers that it “would be the best birthday present ever if you would vote no on gay marriage.” “I really feel bad for the kids who have two parents of the same gender,” she said, “they have no idea what kind of wonderful experiences they miss out on.” “People have the choice to be gay, but I don’t want to be affected by their choice. People say they were just born that way, but I’ve met really nice adults who did change.” Listen:

8. I have niece that is hostile towards the LGBT ommunity.

I know she was not raised that way. She is now 30 and she has been like this for several years. Her hostility towards me is so bad I have told her never to come to my house ever again. Her Grandmother my Mother has told her the same.

Where this hostility comes from no one in the family can figure out and it has put a strain on her Father (my brother) relationship.

No one and I mean no one is going to come into my home and tell me I'm going to hell for who I am.

Clearly this kid is another one of the clueless multitude raised in some right-wing ivory tower. What sort of unthinking little fool would want the children of gay parents to be thrown into the dubious mercies of state- and privately-run child care systems and as likely as not be passed around from one environment to another like a pigskin during a pro football game instead of being raised in a stable environment with two parents?!
