A Tesco worker claims she was taunted about her sexuality before she was brutally beaten up and left unconscious by two thugs.

Kerry Byrnes, 23, claims she was struck repeatedly on the head after being taunted about being gay in the attack near her home in Oakham, Leicestershire last Sunday.

Just moments before the two young men attacked her, they claimed they recognised her from the supermarket and knew that she was a homosexual.

Kerry says she has been afraid to leave the house since the attack and she is desperate to track down witnesses to help trace her attackers....

3. I'm still a bit too PTSD'd from my own hate crime victimization 5 years ago to look at the article

Where I was vehicularly assaulted off my bicycle from two very drunk, very obviously homophobic and suspect very "spun" attackers at about 0530 a.m. My condolences for the victim here and know of a wonderful PTSD treatment program involving Methylene Blue I underwent trial for about 4 years ago. Stopped the nightmares almost overnight.
