1. When compared to percentages I recall from the worst days of AIDS,

that seems low for a major metropolitan city with a high concentration of gays and MSM's. Because I recall between 50 and 75% estimated of the population of most Western city gay populations to be infected.

Then again, the infection rate in London and UK was always lower than in other parts of the Western, developed world.
