When Borin Chep started at the University of Nebraska at Omaha three years ago, he didn’t feel safe coming out to his classmates.

Chep has helped campaign for gender-inclusive housing, which will be offered this fall. And a new resource center focused on LGBT and women’s issues will open in fall 2016.
