but then when it came time later to remind that person and others of what that person had said, it was hidden so I couldn't prove it.

I want this person's homophobia linkable in the future. If the poster is PPRD at some point thats another issue. THen the post can be hidden AFAIC

But homophobic insults have no place on DU.

That is something every DUer should agree on.
