Is FFS tax deductible?

In 2018, I paid 7K+ down payment on a 30K+ series of FFS surgeries. The balance will be paid in April 2019. My daughter has a diagnosis of gender dysphoria. Her dad and she are traveling for the surgery, so we are paying for airfare and lodging.

Has anyone had any experience with deducting these from their taxes?
