Clinics that Limit Birth Control Are Listed as Providers in New State Family Planning Plan

The Des Moines Register, July 7, 2017

"Catholic-affiliated clinics, which limit birth control options, are included in a new state list of health care providers that Iowans are instructed to turn to for subsidized birth control services. The Iowa Department of Human Services’ new list, posted on its website, also includes doctors and nurse practitioners who work more than 100 miles from the counties in which they're listed."

Where they serve the women needing ob/gyn services?

Is NFP the only contraception allowed? Will they prescribe barrier contraception?

One thing I learned ages ago: not only is it important to maintain one's birth control, it is important to keep using the same pills month-to-month to prevent other health problems. Going off and on the pill over and over again isn't healthy or safe in preventing pregnancy.
