This morning, in a FB group I’m in, a woman told us she is having a miscarriage. Her doctor prescribed misoprostol to help her complete the miscarriage. The doctor had to spend 30 minutes explaining to a Walgreens pharmacist that she wasn’t having an abortion

The first round of misoprostol didn’t work. The doctor calls in another round, and she heads to the pharmacy to pick it up. After waiting 20 minutes, she is told by the pharmacist that they’ve talked to colleagues and the corporate office, and have decided not to fill it.

but then I saw the screen name. It seems as if TX is where women go to die and be treated like less than humans. I really hope this victim can get a lawyer, bring a lawsuit, and get rich off these motherfucking holier than thou bastards!

3. This BS happened at Walgreens before

Pharmacist refused to fill a prescription under the exact same circumstances and they were not fired or even disciplined. Apparently Walgreens cares more about pharmacists’ “morals” than peoples health.
I have not entered a Walgreens since that incident some years ago. Women should organize a nationwide boycott. Transfer your prescriptions and tell them why.
