Come join the NWHP in celebrating the Centennial of the 1913 Woman Suffrage March in Washington, DC.
Join NWHP the weekend of March 2-3 as a participate in the Centennial Woman Suffrage parade and attend special events with author and NWHP board member, Robert P.J. Cooney, Jr. Spend an amazing weekend in our nation's capitol immersing yourself in our past and present, surrounded by history and history-in-the-making.
On Saturday, March 2nd from 11 AM-12:30 PM Three Generations Fighting for the Vote." panel will be held at The George Washington University Lisner Auditorium "Learn more about the great 1913 Procession and the three generations of women who won the vote." The panel includes Robert P.J. Cooney, Jr., author of Winning the Vote: The Triumph of the American Woman Suffrage Movement and NWHP Board and authors and scholars Kathryn Kish-Sklar, Erin Chapman, Jill Zahniser and Mary Walton. The panel will be moderated by Ann Lewis, Chair of the Commission on Celebrating Women's History and Counsel to President Bill Clinton. Enjoy this not-to-be-missed panel of experts. Also on Saturday, March 2nd at 2:00 The American Association of University Women will be hosting a presentation by Robert P.J. Cooney, which will include a special expanded presentation on the 1913 Woman Suffrage Parade and a discussion on the daring and steadfast woman suffrage movement. He will also be signing books .
