1. Looks like a godsend for some people, but it's 200 bucks...

Probably costs close to that, so now how to get ways to pay for it.

2. Yeah... it is an assistive device, maybe insurance for those who have it.

Maybe the company would give a discount for folks without insurance? Let people pay for it over time? GoFundMe pages? I don't know, but you're right, there should be some way to affordable get this to a lot of people.

3. Quite remarkable--one wonders if there isn't a way to make a mechanical version

that's perhaps not quite as "leveling" but does the same sort of thing with gimbals? It wouldn't require charging.

The price has come down on this item--it used to be three hundred bucks and is now down to 2.

I can understand the expense because it uses gyroscopic technology that is sophisticated enough to respond to even very small tremors. I can see it being life-changing for people who can't feed themselves because of that, but have the range of motion to otherwise accomplish the task.

4. Ya got me, had to look up gimbal to even see what it is!

Doesn't it also kind of look like that scene in matrix reloaded with the kid that bends the spoon just by use of the mind?

I know some people who would love one of these--they really are amazing.
