My wife and I have been taking Preservision for several years. My in-laws were part of the clinical study, many years ago.

promotions and sales. It has helped his vision and the AMD has not progressed. The National Eye Institute did say AREDS2 supplements reduce the risk of progression from intermediate to advanced AMD by about 25 percent. To us it is definitely worth it, age-related macular degeneration we do not need to deal with!

Solar Shields (Foster Grant) fit over eyeglasses and some designs offer side protection... Anti-glare coating on glasses is also a help. Wearing a hat and avoiding midday sun (between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm) may also provide some protection.
