Missing episodes on Netflix streaming...
I've noticed it with Miami Vice, Emergency and Quantum Leap. Some good episodes aren't available for streaming on these shows and probably some others as well.

(20,886 posts)There are at least three episodes missing. I contacted them when I discovered the first one, but two years later nothing has been done. I have since purchased the DVDs and discovered other episodes missing. Doesn't appear to be any explanation for it.

(31,011 posts)On Miami Vice and Emergency, the pilot episodes are not up. There are several episodes from Quantum Leap. The one I really wanted to see was when Sam jumps into Lee Harvey Oswald. It's not there.
I don't know why they wouldn't have the entire series up.

They feel that Netflix has been hurting DVD sales.

(9,696 posts)and was told that some episodes could not get clearance from the studios for a variety of reasons. It could be a guest star who's contract would not allow the streaming, or music, or product. Many issues involved unfortunately, it's not netflix choice.

(1 post)I realise I'm bringing up a long-dead thread, but I thought it might be of interest to the original posters to know that a lot of the missing episodes of Quantum Leap are on UK Netflix, including the pilot, etc. There's a lot ways of tricking your computer/xbox/whatever of thinking you're in the uk, and just access Netflix as usual, they should be there. Hope this is of help to someone!

(2,815 posts)If you check out Hulu or Hulu Plus if you have that, they might have some of the missing episodes there.
I don't have Netflix anymore (unemployed) but I remember wanting to see the famous Alfred Hitchcock Presents episode of "Lamb for the Slaughter" and for some reason it was missing from there but I found it on Youtube.
