Star Wars Timeline

Yep, I’m still knee deep in the Star Wars stuff. Now on the 4th episode of Andor and loving it.

But, I was wondering when in the timeline does it take place, and when in relation to the Obi Wan Kenobi series? If he’s to steal the Death Star plans, as according to the show synopsis, I figured Andor must take place in the months/weeks leading up to A New Hope?

Lo and behold, someone made a handy chart! Yay, internet!

Spoliers....The end of Rogue One shows a grown up Princess Leia (digital CGI of Carrie Fisher) saying that Obi Wan was their only hope.

I have not finished Andor, but will.

but don’t remember much about it other than liking it, and bits of the end (bombs on those cool launch pads). Didn’t realize or remember that it leads right in to the first SW movie. Or the 4th movie... whatever... A New Hope will always be the first movie to me lol.

After reading the notes on the timeline, I am excited to watch it again after Andor.

If you’re only on episode 4, then you’ve barely scratched the surface. Things are seriously about to take off. It is very well-done.

Finally finished. Why did it not cross my mind, even for a second, that’s what those parts were for??!

especially since it was made so many years prior to Andor.

Thinking about hitting the Mandalorian next. A friend said the first season is great but then it drops off. Trying to get him to watch Andor but he said he’s been burned by Disney too many times, lol! He’d love it, I am sure.

Or maybe I need a Star Wars break. Not sure yet.

I’ve never seen any of the Marvel movies so plan on bingeing those, as well.
