I loved this series and have watched it three times. You have to be patient in the beginning, as it is a bit confusing. I learned after the first viewing that there is a list of the characters at BBC's website which made a huge difference.

4. I'd forgotten this is one of the ones you recommended until I went to Netflix and

saw Jason Isaacs. I probably just put it in my queue for the second time. Good to know to have patience in the beginning -- I never do, but I'll make the effort.

There are so many really good British dramas that I had to stick with in the beginning because they often don't give you any back story. They just throw into the plot and you have to keep up. If I can sit still and pay attention, it pays off.
