If you watch Netflix streaming on a Sony device and experienced problems last night . . . .
. . . . it was a problem at their end, not yours.
We have been watching West Wing. (We may be the only people on the planet who never watched it before.) Suddenly it stopped and reported a network connection error. I couldn't get it to start again. I called them and the person said for us to reboot the router. (I asked her if she used to work for Verizon or Comcast )
I did that. It didn't help. I called them back. This person asked to put me on hold as he had been getting a lot people with Sony devices with the same problem. A few minutes later he was back and sure enough, he said, the problem was at their end and their engineers were working on it.
We ended up watching MSNBC until the end of O'Donnell's show and then the news.
Today, all was well on Netflix.

(1 post)I own a Sony smart tv. The last few days I have experienced no Netflix at night, and the next day it's fine. I am in Philly. Are you still having problems? What did the techs say ultimately?

(15,682 posts)on a Sony device, through Netflix! I swear I'm not making this up. I had several problems last night (for the first time). Though, I didn't start watching until after 8:00 PST. I had to force close my browser and restart episodes from the beginning. I'm on Season 4. How far into it are you?

(15,682 posts)I actually have the boxed set, complete series, on DVD. And I've watched it all the way through. But I noticed it on Netflix and started watching it again a week or so ago.
I never watched it while it was still an active show.
