Drew Goddard, director and co-writer of the acclaimed horror comedy "The Cabin in the Woods," has begun negotiations to write the 13-episode Netflix series based on Marvel's blind superhero "Daredevil".
Goddard is the first name attached to the four Netflix shows in the works based on Marvel properties. "Daredevil" will be the first of the four to go into production and likely onto the VOD service.
Neither Marvel or Goddard's representatives had any comment. Goddard, who also wrote "Cloverfield," certainly has plenty of experience working on TV with writing gigs on the likes of "Lost," "Alias," "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" and "Angel".

I really liked Cabin in the Woods as well as Cloverfield, I thought both were excellent. I liked all the shows he has written on but I'm not sure what episodes/story arcs he has done... Some were better then others so who knows there. Still... A nice start
