addicted to Dexter
to me, the best part of Netflix is catching all the series I missed on premium cable channels.

(20,886 posts)1. Dexter is one of those shows that I thought had to be perfectly awful
But I checked it out anyway just to see what all the fuss was about. It's surprisingly good, and season four with John Lithgow as the guest star is outstanding.

(24,096 posts)3. I tried watching it.
First episode (iirc and I am Pretty sure it was Dexter) was a young, murdered woman cut up in pieces, and some remark was made like: 'nice ass'.
I just about barfed, can't take that kind of stuff.
Maybe it gets better but I did the quit right there a few minutes in.

Absolutely one of the best series I have ever seen. I liked it from the beginning until the final credits ran. The "nice ass" comment had to have come from Matsuka. Dirty mind but a fun guy. All of the characters and story lines were engaging. Highly recommended.

Having to watch in on Netflix UK via Hola Unblocker - but the show is hysterical.
