Season II...and I felt I needed a shower.

The first three episodes of Season I were slow going for me...but, I stuck with it and thought it an excellent watch after that. I'm hoping to give it another try to see if the first show of Season 2 was just another "mis-start" that will even out by episode 2 or 3.

It was much too dark and sinister without proper character development transition from Season I as to what was going on with the plot carry over, imho.

It seemed very cruel...and maybe I just wasn't in the mood for that kind of stuff right now.

span, it's worth the watch. I may have to rewatch parts that I got distracted or fell asleep during (fatigue, not boredom), but still
recommend pushing through it. There's a good anonymous/spy plot and excellent display of citizen disposability thrown into the mix. I actually enjoyed House of Cards after hesitating to get involved in watching yet, another series. I thought it brought out the characters and mentality that are involved in US politics quite well.
