suspense thriller, thoughtful, engaging, more creepy than all out horror, slow to build but gets you hooked quickly.

Don't want to give anything away Give it a try, most people have said they were surprised and really enjoyed it.

I think I'm on the second episode, "Simon." It is good! Nice and surreal and beautifully filmed. I hope there will be several seasons!

The Sundance Channel has picked up The Returned‘s upcoming second season, which is about to go into production, in a deal with Zodiak Rights. It will debut in the US in late 2014.

It bothers me that those two women are driving in circles forever with that weird kid.

there is some light on the horizon.........

From Wikipedia - Season 2 (2015)
A second season of eight episodes is in production. The story will continue six months after the flooding, with the town being restored under the control of the authorities. Although rumors of the dead returning have spread, the authorities do not believe them, and most survivors who took shelter in the Helping Hand keep the existence of the Revenants to themselves. Some, such as Lena and her father Jerome, have not given up on finding Camille and Claire. Meanwhile, an unknown man called Berg arrives in town who appears to know more about the situation, and soon after a new wave of Revenants appear.[1]

The second season of the series was originally to be filmed in February and March 2014, for screening from November 2014.[5] However, delays in the writing process meant that filming was delayed until the second half of 2014, and broadcast would begin in 2015.[6][7] The synopsis for the second season was released in August 2014, which also confirmed there would be a total of eight episodes.[8] Mogwai will return to compose the soundtrack for the second season.[9]

Hopefully, season 2 will be as good as the first season............. and hopefully those women get to drive somewhere different

It's been a long wait.

I saw that there's an American version, but I won't watch it. I'm too invested with the characters from the French language show.
