Is Netflix sending you extra discs?

I have 4 out plan.
and up to 6 discs at time have been appearing in my "At Home " queue.
Netflix says they can now tell when a returned disc hits my PO, then they send new movies instead of waiting for discs to arrive at Netflix.

It DOES shorten number of days between arrival of movies.

Just wondering why Netdlix is being so generous. Maybe to make up loss of Sat. delivery?
Maybe to look good to the FCC?

when did they lose Sat delivery? why would such a move look good to FCC? I have a one out at a time, cause the streaming i do. I did have three, pared it down to two, then I notice their rates went up and i brought it down to one out at a time. I have occasionally received an extra disc like during Christmas time or other such celebration. but not as a routine matter.

FCC is still deciding on details of how streaming companies like Netflix will be regulated.

since you are only one at a time, you might not be getting the more rapid service.
It started for me abut 6 weeks ago.
It says:

Wondering why you have an extra disc?
We received notice that you returned a disc, so we have shipped the next available disc from your Queue.

It shaves a day or 2 off the turnaround time for me.

expedite delivery of the next in queue. Now that's great service, good on Netflix!
