El Ministerio del Tiempo

On Netflix, Spanish with English subs.

16th century soldier from the Spanish Flemish campaigns, 19th century scholar, 21st century paramedic all recruited for the Ministry of Time in Madrid.

Together they are the latest team to use doorways into the past to protect Spanish and world history.

Funny, with lots of action, thoughtful and romantic, fun SF series. I'm delighted at how much they fit in 70 minute episodes. Only late in the first of three seasons, but really loving it.

Also the actor playing the 16th century soldier really should play Captain Alatriste, as they tease him about in the first episode.
