My Grandmother was 58 and my Grandfather was 57 when they died

From alcoholism! I’m older than they were at the time they died because I am sober. I always share that I think I would be dead now if I didn’t get and stay sober. Today that seems more true than ever

I’m a little shook up today as I just figured this out. I was 5 when they died and they seemed so old!

Grandfather and step father Both died at fairly young ages...I Know for a fact that I would be dead by now had I continued down that destructive path...instead I made it this far sober and many more to go (fingers crossed)
