Day 43 and feeling strong

Made it through my 60 bday party last weekend with little trouble or urges. Being KitchenBitch and cooking today, a nice quiet one with just MrsK and LilBit.
Zooming later with 2 different support groups. I am thankful for you all today, and wish you strength.
Sometimes, a day at a time is too much, don't be afraid to go a minute at a time, if needed.

Kidding of course. No matter what it is a month and a half is a long time.

So have a great day and a good weekend!

I was cleaning out my son’s room yesterday. Found a box in the corner of his closet - filled with the little baggies and papers that heroin comes it, and a couple belts he used for tourniquets. The tears wouldn’t stop. He’s clean almost 5 years now and getting married to his beautiful Jennifer (6+ years clean) in a month, and they hope to start a family. You can do it.
