Anyone interested in a forum dedicated to End of Life issues?

Last edited Fri Mar 4, 2016, 06:03 PM - Edit history (1)

Am x-posting in Cancer and in Health / Chronic conditions. I think I need just 10 supporters to pull this off.

The forum is not the standard what-should-I-expect-from-my-cancer-diagnosis, or how-do-deal-with-x-disease, but more for people for whom life is known to be closing out, discuss the best practices of what you should do legally (power of attorney's, etc.), where your status is (hospice, etc), what you want to (or should) leave behind for others (for instance passwords to stuff, personal letters, etc.). It's also open to people in the position with other people/family facing EOL issues of their own.

If interested, please respond to this thread. If you think this is redundant of another thread or forum, please let me know so I can check it out, but on first glance I don't see anything so focused.

Peace to you all.

On edit: Under DU rules, I need 10 agreements to make it happen. If you're interested, but just not posting, please post. Otherwise it'll not happen. Thanks

We opened it a few weeks ago, now just have to work on the traffic.

Go to >Health topic and you'll find End of Life Issues

Pop in a look around or say something or just introduce if you'd like to be welcomed. You don't have to say anything in an introduction but it would help if you say why it interests you - you're facing your own EOL, you're caring for (or somehow otherwise dealing with someone facing EOL), or if you're a caregiver / hospice worker / professional that has something to say or can help.

I don't have a direct need right now, but we all will someday. It's a good thing to have a place for discussion.
