Shingles again

Going for round #4 in one year of this.

Large raised area on the inside of my leg again and shock like pains.

Cannot sleep.

Why don't I just drop dead now and get his misery over.

They are threatening to cut me off pain meds *again* and I'd rather be just gone than live like this.

The MS is such a mean disease and has its little games like this shingles crap.

Why me?

Insurance co. said to sue the doctor if they try to cut me off of the meds. Good luck with that eh?

Sick of being sick!

Anyone else dealing with recurring shingles? Anyone? HELP.

...but I know a lady who had them for 20 years. Her husband passed a few years ago and I don't know if they still persist, but I do know she has suffered a long time from the malady. I had them 20 years ago, lasted two weeks and gone. I was lucky, even though I had a severe case of them.
My wife came down with shingles a few months before she died of breast cancer...never went away. I'm thinking it had something to do with a compromised immune system, but I'm certainly no doctor.
Hope yours ends soon!

I fell asleep after I posted this earlier.

Will call the Community Health Center that I go to as soon as I wake-up a bit.

Thanks again!

The second time it happened, I recognized the symptoms pronto and my doctor gave me an antiviral drug. He said it won't work if you don't take it early. Hope this helps.

4. I called yesterday

They said they could not give me an appt. for one week.

They said to call back today at 8:30 a.m. to check for a cancellation.

If there are no cancellations, I'll have to drive into the nearest town to the ER I suppose.

This thing is much worse today. It has risen up and wow do I ever have a bad headache and I am exhausted!

I spent most of yesterday in bed asleep only to awaken to a vicious storm and no power. Power is back now and I'll call the nurse help line before I check for cancellations as this is BULLSHIT IMO!

I seriously think they'd like to be rid of me and I am not kidding.

I am costing too much and not paying out for them any longer via a job.

I wish every one of these fools had a clue!
