Anybody have generalized anxiety?

I was doing okay today. Didn't take my xanax. As night falls, I find myself having a feeling of dread descend on me.

My SO is thinking he had covid again. I'm feeling very anxious

7. A little bit I put food out for my outdoor kitty then try and fix myself something to eat

If Tiger my outdoor kitty doesn’t show up on time , the anxiety gets worse, I expect him to be late tonight because pouring rain I wish I did have some kind of routine

I go to therapy.

I think we have pink eye now.

For two more years. I think it adds to the insomnia and anxiety, it’s kind of like menopause all over again. I’m very grateful it was caught in time, only lumpectomy, chemo and radiation. I’ve been terrified of cancer ever since my mom died over 30 years ago.

In fact I had a wave of anxiety hit me, yesterday, after therapy, and again this afternoon. I'm going to take an Ativan to help me sleep.

I try to stay away from benzodiazapines because of my propensity towards addictive behavior, so I use zoloft and it helps me. It helps lift the sword of damacles feeling I get for no apparent reason.

8. It's the most dreadful feeling

I worry constantly. I became disabled and no longer work.

It's just this feeling something bad is going to happen. I never used to be like this.

My doctor prescribed escitalopram. I have to take one pill daily. It has helped me.

21. I have had issues with anxiety. Xanax made it worse

when the med wore off so I didn't take it very long.

I don't mean to be dismissive, but have found that music is really helpful along with audio books.

Life has been stressful and crazy these last years . I hope this gets better. I was okay earlier. Watching All the Presidents Men now.

SO's test was negative, if he did it right. I do think we both have pink eye.
