I keep a dream log and I was looking through some of my older dreams. I ran across this one which really threw me for a loop at the time, and I'll tell you why after you read the dream.

There was much more to the following dream, but this is all I can reliably report of it.
I am outside a ranch style house. I feel like I am a woman. Suddenly my woman-ness splits off from me and becomes a separate woman. I tell her that I’m considering going to graduate school. She guides me to a library on a college campus. I’m looking for information on the statistics program. On a shelf where the book of the descriptions is for the programs that the school offers there is also a book titled Alchemy.
A couple of weeks later, as I was reading up on Carl Jung, I ran across a book called Alchemy by one of Jung's students, Marie-Louise von Franz. I had no knowledge of such a book before I ran across it. Naturally, I had to buy it and I still own it.
