It really is ridiculous.

All of these far right pundits and commentators are shocked that reproductive rights were such a key issue for voters in the midterm elections. Where have they been for the last year? And they call “liberal elites” out of touch with the people!

I honestly think they (a lot of them anyway) had NO idea how important reproductive rights are to huge numbers of Americans.

Someone commented earlier this week about Chris Christie saying he didn't think Roe was going to be an important issue in the election, and I replied that I thought it was due to a lack of imagination on his part, that Roe didn’t serm like a big deal to him, so he didn't see why it should be be a big deal to anyone else.

Now that I think of it, that signals a lack of empathy as well, a quality we already knew Reoubare lacking in. It makes sense that people who lack empathy are going to have a hard time picking up on how other people feel!

Good morning. In states where abortion rights or democracy was on the ballot, Democrats upended the typical midterm result.

They will never accept that (most) women want bodily autonomy, just like men have. The fight will never be over for women--just look at Afghanistan.
