Related: About this forumAnyone have any experience with the Always Pan?
I just purchased a carbon steel pan which I really like, but it's very heavy. The Always Pan is about 3#, which is much better than my carbon steel pan with is 4.25#.
Anyway, the Always Pan has piqued my interest, but it is rather expensive too. Just in the thinking stage right now.

Retrograde
(10,130 posts)it can last a life time, so if you use it for 20 years, that's about $7 a year. (I'm currently using a cast iron skillet that's older than my nearly 70 years!).
I haven't seen or used one, but Consumer Reports was not impressed with the quality.

And yes, the pan is expensive, but it appears that the quality is not there.
I'll stick with my carbon steel pan and work on my upper body strength!
