(106,886 posts)Rummaged through the freezer, found some thick sliced baked ham from a recent family pot-luck. Sauteing onion, bell pepper and celery to add to BBQ sauce & ham and simmering while I do the rest.
Hoping the Milano's make it through a movie later on, but it may be close.

(1,353 posts)From Cooking Light. It's yummy, and I imagine you could sub tofu and you'd have a vegetarian/vegan friendly dish. Omit the fish sauce, and use soy sauce or ponzu instead!

(2,682 posts)I drove 75 miles south to visit a friend for the day. We were "ladies who lunch". I had deep fried Panko-coated ling cod and fries. I only ate a couple of fries. The fish was nice and crispy on the outside and tender/moist on the inside. And to make my day a total blow-out of my diet, I had a chocolate milkshake at the movie. So tea and toast was all I had for dinner.
