Venezuelan Chicken salad.

I've got multigrain crackers and decafe tea.

1. Salad

A garden salad with added broccoli, corn cut off the cob, Swiss cheese, deli corned beef, hard boiled egg, some green olives, all drizzled with a vinaigrette dressing. I'm sure I'll want more later, but have no plan yet.

As I type this, FLFC is moaning his hunger over a plate with several meats. Just a few minutes ago he was eating Moist and Meaty dog food, one piece at a time as if it were a treat. Now he acts as if they are poison. He's taking Temptations treats from my hand and politely setting each one on the floor. Refusing Beggin Strips and peanut butter too. I guess he'd hoping I'll hand him something different sooner or later.

Watermelon is working. We'll explore other options later on.

4. watermelon was popular with my dogs as well. Maybe a bit of rind

on tile floor, a 'fruit bone' like pizza bones?

2. pork stir-fry

broccoli, carrots, yellow bell pepper, celery, onion, mushroom, garlic and ginger

served over rice


there are still some rice crispy squares for dessert

3. Salmon and corn on the cob, cooked on the outdoor griddle.

A weekend favorite.
