What's for Dinner, Fri, Aug. 20, 2021

Air-fried Brussels sprouts. I have a couple different types of sauces to try with them. One is orange sauce and the other is tahini sauce.

Chicken sausages.

And I bought a new watermelon!
That's dessert.

over rice and noodles, with the usual greens. Kind of weak ingredients, but the flavor is good.

Watermelon here too. But I may wait to open it until tomorrow, depends.

I have to try that. My favorite way of doing them anyway is roasting and then running them under a broiler with a sauce composed of equal parts of sweet chili sauce and soy sauce plus a healthy dash of garlic. *chef's kiss" Dee-lish!

Vegan ravioli tossed with a sauce of olive oil, garlic, chopped fresh tomato, and lots of basil. This crazy weather (hot, with periods of drought followed by weeks of thunderstorms) has blessed me with a bumper crop of Genovese basil.

We made blueberry-white chocolate chip frozen yogurt this week. That's dessert for those who want it.
