I stopped by the sushi store while I was out and around and bought volcano rolls--crab stuffed, rolled in brown quinoa.

For dessert, strawberry shortcake with whipped cream, of course.

1. Pulled pork with ghost pepper Bbq sauce. Sweet potato

Probably baked beans,

4. I'm also having pulled pork 😀 with coleslaw and potatoes. Wish I would've thought

of doing baked beans, I haven't had them in a while.

2. Korean beef bowl

I found the recipe in a menu-planning app. It’s kind of okay, but probably won’t make it again.

3. Oysters!

We motored (no wind for sailing) to Port Jefferson, NY and there’s a seafood restaurant across the street with fresh (and safe!) oysters. With a mixed salad, some fresh bread & butter and some local white wine this will be a great dinner after a hot and sweaty day!

NJCher, your volcano rolls sound great and I’m sure their flavors will be explosive, (sorry).

5. Chili rubbed elk roast

Pressure cooked until it falls apart…served on mashed potatoes with a chipotle gravy. Miso glazed green beans.

6. Chicken breast, pounded flat, breaded and pan-fried

Cheese & spinach ravioli w/ a parmesan/basil cream sauce

buttered beets
