Pizza marguerite using homemade pizza sauce and basil from my garden (still looking good in mid-October!)
Going to try a new low-calorie ice cream. It has only 80 calories for a 2/3 cup serving. Salted caramel vanilla.

(43,137 posts)Dessert will be a donut or 2 and maybe an apple juiced with a lemon. But there are no cookies and no ice cream in my diet.
I'm alone in the country doing outdoor end-of-season chores. Although it was a beautiful day, it was a bit chilly and breezy.
Homemade chili with jalapeños, green pepper, cumin, red pepper, raw onions and grated jack cheese. Also, a Portugese roll with butter. A small salad of cucumber, tomatoes and black olives and capers with oil and vinegar rounded off the meal.
Maybe I'll have a brandy when I sit down to read.
