I'll probably make scrambled eggs and stuff from the garden for them. Mom and Dad are going for their anniversary dinner. Maybe kids and I will make a cake while they are gone. I love little kids!

i had a bit of a rough day today, nothing terrible, but exhausting, so i picked up a hard cider to drink while my husband's at band practice.

i've got lunch meat, cheese and crackers if i get hungry later.

It was a frozen, "Mediterranean-crusted" filet. I had it along with a salad. I generally prefer my salmon unadulterated, but I can't pass up bargain. Luckily, this brand (High Liner Sea Cuisine) is pretty good. I was actually a repeat purchase, and I'll buy it again if the price is right.

Roast lamb, An artichoke, corn on the cob, and cream cheese stuffed, bacon wrapped jalapeños.

Hope you are well, Lucinda.

Roast goat meat. Got this from the Farmers Market from a local rancher. It was my first time trying goat meat and it was delicious!

Stuffed Grape Leaves. Bought these from a local Mediterranean Deli. I usually make them but my air conditioning is STILL out and it was 108 today.

Baba Ganoush. Recipe from the "What to do with egglplant" thread.

Pita bread and rice pilaf.
