(146,218 posts)They had a cub scout jamboree this weekend and left scads of barbecued chicken, pasta salad and fruit salad.
He gave us some yesterday and we are set for a couple of days!
No longer do I feel the pressure to get to the store in the next 48 hours.

Side dishes: corn, sage potato cakes
Salad: sliced cucumbers w/dill in cream
Dessert: Ginger pears over frozen yogurt

(146,218 posts)It sounds fabulous. I can't wait to get my supplies and start cooking again.
I've also run out of fabric, so my sewing has come to a halt.
As much as I don't want to, I am thinking we may have to go back to America soon.

(22,340 posts)Was going to have pasta but found some tomatoes in the fridge that needed to be used so went with the salad and some burgers.

BTW, Popeye's is also very good for a summer/fall/winter/spring cold!

(9,791 posts)DH had leftover baked chicken thighs with long grain and wild rice. I made him a steamed green bean salad with cubed garden tomatoes and chopped red onion with lemon vinaigrette dressing. My daughter had a leftover grilled burger and fresh tomato salad.
