OK - I need a fruit pie for dessert Christams Eve - what you got that's Christmasy?
I have an eggnog pie and chocolate cream with peppermint crunch topping. I need a fruit pie for my husband. Something with coconut "snow"?

3. Not too sure about Coconut with fruit, but
I've had one of these in the past and loved it: http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/Spiced-Apple-Pie-with-Raisins-104530
However they are recommending this set: http://www.epicurious.com/recipesmenus/slideshows/christmas-pies-tarts-50562?slide=0 |

4. My aunt makes the most wonderful
Cantly pudding. It is a cranberry pudding that is tart, that you smother with a butter/sugar sauce. It is totally decadent.

5. Banana goes with coconut
You can always make a banana cream pie with coconut on top. I've also heard tell of pineapple pie.....I think that would be lovely with some coconut whipped cream. Alas I don't have recipes but I'm sure the google does.

10. I'm thinking apple pie with little christmas tree cut-outs -
maybe with red and green sugar sprinkles on the trees? Maybe with cinnamon red hots on the trees?

11. The classic in my house has always been the apple pie with cheddar cheese crust.
Don't know that it's particularly christmasy for anyone else, but to me it is Christmas.

12. fruit not meat
I love mincedmeat pie with whipped cream. When I went to visit an Oklahoma farm family they were really proud of their real mincedMEAT pie made with pork and beef. OK for dinner, not for dessert!
