I used cbayer's recipe for the aioli with the addition of green onions. But I made the salmon cakes with carmelized onions, eggs and bread crumbs. It turned out fantastic. I'll try to post the recipe tomorrow.

Will be leaving for the big city (pop about 2,000) within the hour and will most likely meet friends for dinner.

Which is a good thing because my cupboards are bare.

I had a small cache of bok choi, baby carrots, serrano pepper, half an onion and a half a can of coconut milk that all needed to be used. I washed, chopped and processed the veg and sauteed everything except the bok choi in a tiny bit of butter and olive oil and pushed them to one edge of the skillet.
I coated a fat tilapia filet with a little salt and a lot of tumeric and put it in the hot pan for two or three minutes per side, just enough to brown them nicely, then added the bok choi, the coconut milk, a squeeze of fish sauce, and a generous dash of sriracha, simmered for a minute or two and served it over arborio rice. Surprisingly good!
