some corn, the roast beef, some assorted carrots, broccoli and cauliflour that was in the fridge from two days ago. I made mashed potatoes, and sprinkled cheese on it, but I don't know how long to cook it. Oh, and I put some beef stock in it.

It's really just a leftover pie, just so we can eat the rest of a good meal. I don't know how long to cook it.

but the only time I ever cooked this was with Dinty Moore beef stew as a base, and then the mashed potatoes and cheese.

Since then, I've learned quite a bit, but I'm going on a limb here, because I haven't done this dish with actual real live food. LOL.

It came out delicious and it was good way to deal with leftovers. I just tasted it, and it needs to sit for a while, but it is ready to be devoured.

I cooked it on 350 for 90 minutes.

It's very seldom that something comes out completely inedible.

I didn't know what to put it on, but 350 worked out great, so thank you. I am so full I can almost touch it.

I love this dish and make it regularly.

On a particularly rocky night, I went to pull it out of the oven and the entire thing went onto the floor. What a mess!

Lesson learned. I now stick to things that can't spill like that when it gets rocky.

18. All I did was take all the leftover vegetables

leftover roast, make some potatoes, add about a quarter cup of beef stock to the vegetables and leftover meat, spread the potatoes on top, add some cheese, and bake it for 90 minutes at 350 degrees.

It's not exactly a recipe, but the corn really livened up the Shepherd's pie.

I also throw in a veggie medley (instead of just corn) of corn, peas, carrots, and onion (oh, and garlic. never can have too much garlic).
