I have some leftovers and the makings of a caprese. That is most likely what we will have.

Sushi.... mmmmmmm. My favorite meal.

Hmm.... caprese sandwich. We have bagels! I wonder how it would be to put some bacon on there as well.

my store-bought freeze-dried basil very nicely.

as buying it cut off plants.

I recently bought a tube of basil. It works ok for flavoring in a pinch, but I like a bright fresh whole leaf with my caprese.

I cooked it with chopped tomatoes, Vidalia onion, bell pepper and garlic. And there are leftovers!

some for lunch and the rest as i was wrapping up at work.
