I bought a pound of TVP for $1.80 on sale at a local bulk food market. When I was placing my items on the checkout counter, I commented to the cashier that I didn't know what I was going to do with the TVP "But it sure is inexpensive." She then gave me a pre-printed veggie burger recipe that she said was really quite good.

I've never had a veggie "burger" that I really liked. We shall see.

Homemade pizza or chicken wings....

As for me I am cleaning out my refrigerator of all produce, etc and decided to just make ratatouille with lots of onion and garlic. Will top with some grated parm.
