Pork roast with apple sauce (got that tip here from someone the other day). Yes, I've had it before, but forgot how delicious that combo is.

Zucchini fritters.

Green salad.

Red wine, prol'ly.

Dessert will be precisely 1.5 T of Ciao Bella's holiday flavor chestnut cream with chocolate. And one heart-shaped chocolate cookie.

We had company over - my wife's best friend, recently divorced (sweet woman repeatedly cheated on by a really scummy husband).

Was a fun evening - I like to be the cook/host!

She doesn't like to cook, but she's a killer baker. The cookies have almonds, raisins and some chocolate morsels.

I don't bake well, but like to cook. So we trade sometimes.
