Spinach Bread

So good with a salad...quick & easy.

Spinach Bread

3 packages Pillsbury crescent rolls
2 packages chopped spinach, thawed & well drained
2 eggs
Pinch of salt & pepper
1 large block jack cheese, grated
1 package sliced pepperoni

Mix spinach, eggs, salt & pepper together.
Place 1 ½ packages of rolls in the bottom of a 9x13 greased pan, entirely covering bottom & about halfway up sides to form a bottom crust. Spread spinach mixture on top. Layer on pepperoni, then shredded cheese. Top with remaining rolls to form top crust (seal edges well). Brush top with melted butter or margarine. Bake at 350 for about 40 minutes or until lightly brown.

1. Hmm, I wonder if I can convert this to a regular bread recipe?

Everytime I try something like this the added ingredients mess up the balance and I get hard or squishy bread. But I love spinach and I love bread. SO off we go.

Roll out the dough into a rectangle, roll up into a log, bake and then slice.

Let me know what you end up with!

stuff anymore. Not that I mind those sometimes yummy and time saving products. I am just forcing myself to live like grandma did. She made everything from apple cobbler to Zest like soap with wood ashes and lye. SO maybe the pizza dough would be a better one to practice on.
