I often just put everything on the table and say "Last chance - it's all going in the garbage tonight".
There just comes that point, no matter how good it was to begin with.

(522 posts)3. Not at my house....that's when you start a big pot of veggie/beef soup
Compost the old veggies...they are mush by now. Add a can of diced tomatoes, fresh veggies, chunk up the left over beef, rinse out the goo in the bottom of the bowl and pour that in the pot. Some chicken broth if you need more moisture. Add corn muffins. Yum.
